Col De Turini

Phil & I left Nice at 8.30 this morning to drive the full WRC Rally Stage at the Col de Turini. 3hrs later we arrive back at Nice! We recon we were probably on the stage itself for about 1hr, we think the WRC cars achieve the same distance in approximately 25 minutes!! An amazing experience. If you're a bit of a petrol head and down this way do it. you will not be disappointed.
However, can suggest if you at all suffer from travel sickness take some drugs first not half way round. I ended up a little green around the edges... still, as I write this I'm feeling much better after a stop and pouring a bottle of water over my head. An MG RV8 may sound fantastic in the mountains with the top down but with blue skies, much sun and a very large, very hot engine you do tend to overheat a little.
Next stop Lake Garda, Italy in approximately 5hrs if you don't count our many fuel stops on route!
