This morning Jayne and i decided we wouldnt bother going to the col de turini but instead would get to Lake Garda by the shortest route possible in order to amble around the west and north side of the lake to reach the east side as it was supposed to be pretty. I wanted to find the stretch of road that Top Gear always went on about as one of the greatest driving routes in the world. It was possibly the stretch to the north west as there were loads of winding bends and tunnels. Hotel is up in the hill across the road from the lake and the view is beautiful. Just need the heat haze to clear to get a good piccy.
